Families of 6 are so awesome! This one in particular! You might wonder how we get four rambunctious children to smile and stay still? Lots of joke telling, perhaps a few quick tickles, a funny face or two…and a few other secret photographer tricks up my sleeve! Well worth the effort, as you can see!

Each family I shoot is so different, but I doubt I'll find a family I won't enjoy taking photos of! I think deep down, our desire is the same - to celebrate the bond, to capture the genuine-ness of relationship and to create a permanent memento of the family's existence! This lovely family is a repeat customer and with four children, our session was busy, but FUN and we worked together to capture some great shots! I am always one to say that the final CD might not be full of perfectly posed, happily smiling children, or the postcard family (although I do strive for at least one of these "perfect" images), but what's more important is to capture life as it was right in that moment - unhappy children and all! I think my favourite photo from this session is the last one, for this exact reason!
