"A [family] is a little world created by love..."

A new family recently began attending our church and no sooner had L. and her daughter, R. showed up to playgroup for the first time back in June, we were instant friends, and began spending some time together over the summer!  Then L. found out I took family portraits and just like that, we had booked a shoot for the three [almost 4] of them for the end of August!  Not only am I ticked pink to have made some new friends, I am very pleased with how the photos turned out of this beautiful family.

C. is the manager at a local golf course, so we had free reign of the place for our photo shoot!  Had to do some action golf shots before the evening was over!

Sugar and Spice and [Everything Nice]

I've said this before - I LOVE taking family pictures. And, this particular family is just adorable and it was SO delightful to take their photos! Three sweet, precious girls and their parents, who happen to be longtime friends of ours!  The occasion for the photo session was to celebrate the arrival of Baby D!  Isn't she the cutest thing?

Oh [Baby]!

Good friends of ours are anticipating the arrival of baby #3! Any day now! About 2 weeks ago, I spent an evening at their place taking some baby bump photos - no pregnancy should go by without some tangible reminders of the miracle and preciousness of life inside the womb and the real beauty of a woman who is expecting that miracle!

My friend, S., REALLY is a beautiful pregnant woman, don't you all agree?  And, her baby bump is beautiful, as are those two kids she already has!  Her hubby, C. is a great guy too, and happens to be Dan's business partner for DC Tires.  Like all men, he wasn't too keen on the photo op, but he was a super sport and their photos turned out fantastic!

The same family I shot back in the fall - our friends, C&R - have now welcomed a new baby girl into the world!  She is THE sweetest thing!  Our baby shoot went about as smoothly as it can with a newborn [and two older siblings] and I think I captured some really beautiful "moments" that day!  It really is a pleasure for me to provide tangible "memories" of life, love and family!  As we all know, babies grow up WAY too fast and one can never have enough photos!  Not only that, spending time with friends, doing what I love, is even better!  Here are some of MY favorites from that day!
