Ephesians 1:4-5

This family is so very dear to my family! We've been friends for 11 and a half years and seen each other through thick and thin (I was going to list some of the highlights but we would have been here a while....) Most recently, we've been so privileged to be a small part of their journey to adopt the most beautiful little girl from Haiti - Chrissa. To celebrate her arrival and their successful first few months as a family of 5, we spent a beautiful late September evening at their farm capturing some wonderful photos! A beautiful location, perfect weather, cooperative children, happy family - it's the best case scenario for any photographer! Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.

Want to know what Ephesians 1:4-5 says? "Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure." (NLT)


How beautiful to see the Gospel lived out in this family!

All of my best growing up stories somehow involve this family, specifically L and T - the two daughters.  Youth group, trips to the mall in the old suburban, sleepovers; endless giggles and silliness were never far away....I am thankful that they have stayed in my life, even if it's just a yearly girls coffee (with plenty of laughs) or this - the chance to take photos of the whole Q family in September!  They really are a photogenic family and it wasn't long before we had captured some great shots, even a couple silly ones!  Giggles and silliness still reign!

All because two people fell in [love]

Another wedding in the books!  This fun-loving and adventurous couple got married on July 15, 2016.  Not even a year after her sister tied the knot, this beautiful bride and her groom had a wonderful and special day and I am so happy I could be a part of it!
